
Peoria residents should be aware of adjusted city service hours for the New Year’s holiday. The City of Peoria announced that its offices will be closed on Thursday.
Peoria’s Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library will close early at 3 p.m. tomorrow and reopen at 11 a.m. on Friday. The outside book drop will be unavailable while the libraries are closed, according to the City of Peoria.
Peoria’s William L. Patena Community Center will close early at 6 p.m. tomorrow and reopen on Friday. Beginning January 2, the center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Rio Vista Recreation Center will operate from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow and will be closed on New Year’s Day. The facility reopens Friday at 5 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m.
Residents planning post-holiday cleanup should check the Holiday Trash Collection Schedule for any changes to solid waste and recycling pickup times.
