A fatal collision involving a Ford Bronco and a Tesla Model 3 on Crow Canyon Road is currently under investigation by the San Ramon Police Department. The accident, which occurred last Saturday, around 3:23 PM, resulted in the death of a 41-year-old woman from Castro Valley. As reported in a social media post by the San Ramon Police Department, she was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where she received treatment and was subsequently released.
Suspected of being under the influence, Badal Dholaria, a 28-year-old Pleasanton resident, was arrested at the scene and is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. Transported to Martinez Detention Facility after the crash, the driver of the Tesla, Dholaria, is presently in police custody. The San Ramon Police Department expressed its condolences to the family involved, stating, "Our heartfelt condolences go out to those affected by this tragic incident."
While the identity of the deceased has not been released to the public, additional investigation into the circumstances of the incident is actively being pursued.
