The Town of Plymouth is hosting its annual “Light up the Season” event today from 4 PM to 9 PM, featuring festive displays at Town Hall Green and the Spire Center. Parking and traffic restrictions begin at noon on Russell Street, S. Russell Street, and Court Street from North Street to Howland Street, according to the Plymouth Police Department.
Accessible parking is available in the main Town Hall lot. As the event begins at 4 PM, expect road closures and detours: Russell Street and nearby roads will be closed from Court Street to Sever Street, South Russell Street from the Lower Parking Garage to Court Street, and School Street will have two-way traffic diverted to Town Square.
Starting at 5 PM, additional road restrictions take effect. Court Street will be closed to vehicles from North Street to Howland Street, and Clyfton, Vernon, and Brewster streets will be open to residents only. Memorial Drive and Chilton Street at Court Street will be restricted to northbound right turns. These measures are intended to help attendees and residents navigate traffic safely.
