
A hit-and-run incident in Plymouth has left a pedestrian with unspecified injuries and triggered a search for the driver responsible. The Plymouth Police Department reported the event on social media detailing that the accident occurred last evening around 6:30 PM near 280 Court Street. The victim was a male, but his current medical condition has been left undisclosed.
Investigators are on the lookout for a white work van, which is suspected to have inflicted the injuries. According to the police department's social media post, the vehicle in question might be a GMC, characterized by white piping on its roof, and silver rims, with noticeable damage to the front passenger side including a possible blown headlight. After hitting the pedestrian, the van was last spotted heading northbound on Court Street toward Kingston.
The vehicle's partial license plate information was also disclosed, with a possible “W” beginning the sequence and ending with “65.” The law enforcement appeal extends to anybody who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information concerning the vehicle. Plymouth Police are urging those individuals to come forward and contact them at 508-830-4218 to assist in the investigation and to facilitate the swift administration of justice.
