An increasing cloud cover is anticipated, culminating in rain likely after 4 am, with the forecast indicating a 60% chance of precipitation, according to the NWS.
Transitioning into Thursday and Friday, Portland residents should brace for more wet weather. Rain is projected to be consistent, with a "new precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible" on Thursday, which will flow south at around 5 mph in the afternoon with a chance of precipitation hiking up to 90%, the NWS stated.
