A grim silence veils the 1400 block of Rumrill Boulevard in San Pablo after a shooting episode ushered in tragic ultimatums for two men. According to a social media post by the San Pablo Police Department, at approximately 9:07 p.m. yesterday, first responders rushed to the scene following reports of gunfire. Succumbing to the brutality of multiple gunshot wounds, one 36-year-old man from Richmond died after being transported to a local hospital. Another man of the same age hangs on in critical condition.
As the San Pablo PD detectives took over the investigation into what is being considered a homicide, the suspect or suspects, as pointed out by the authorities, remain at large. The identities of the two Richmond residents remain under wraps pending further notification to their next of kin.
