
Chaos unfolded on the streets of Downtown Pittsburgh when two men were apprehended, one reportedly after brandishing a rifle at a maintenance worker. According to WPXI, Pittsburgh Public Safety officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Penn Avenue following reports of an alarming incident that occurred around 8:45 a.m. yesterday.
The police action resulted in the recovery of a rifle and a "significant quantity" of drugs, including heroin. One of the suspects was found inside a convenience store, while the other, after a brief foot chase, was detained at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and McCrea Way, as per information detailed by CBS News Pittsburgh. The identities of the men arrested have not been disclosed to the public.
Both suspects are now facing charges, though specifics regarding the charges have not been released.
