Retuquel Dupree, 27, and Jessica Savangsy, 26, were arraigned on charges of murder and torture in connection with the death of a 7-year-old girl and the injury of another child in Roseville. The arraignment is set to continue on January 5, 2026, and both defendants remain in custody without bail, according to the Placer County District Attorney's Office on their Facebook page.
The two, reportedly in a dating relationship, were arrested after Roseville Police and Fire responded to a medical call at their home on Oahu Court. Authorities found the 7-year-old girl unresponsive and another 5-year-old injured, while two other children in the home were unharmed.
