Local artists are invited to participate in Maricopa’s upcoming exhibit, “Pets: An Extension of Family,” which celebrates the bond between humans and their pets. Selected works will be displayed at the Maricopa Library & Cultural Center from February to May 2026, and artists are encouraged to submit their interpretations, according to the City of Maricopa.
The Cultural Affairs & Arts Advisory Committee says the deadline to submit applications is January 8, 2026. Artists should send their completed pieces and application forms to [email protected]. The application form is available on the committee’s website.
