Following a meticulous investigation by the Alameda County Narcotics Task Force (ACNTF), a San Lorenzo local has been taken into custody on charges of drug trafficking. Erik Salas, 26, was arrested on Tuesday, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office confirmed in a detailed social media post following the event. The arrest was the result of an operation targeting narcotics distribution in the community.

The ACNTF, during an ensuing search of the suspect's home, unearthed a cache of illicit substances and contraband. Detectives reported finding over 50 pounds of methamphetamine, 4,000 counterfeit M30 pills containing fentanyl, half a kilo of coke, two ounces of heroin, $14,500 in cash, body armor, and four privately manufactured firearms.

Salas is now facing multiple felony charges as he was booked into the Santa Rita Jail. The charges include a variety of narcotics and firearms violations.
