Last Thursday, the arrest operation peaked with searches in Atlanta and Sandy Springs where agents and officers seized more than 400 pounds of suspected marijuana, around six ounces of alprazolam, which is a Schedule IV drug, and six firearms, Davy was subsequently booked into the Fulton County Jail on these charges. The GBI stated that this arrest is part of a broader ongoing investigation into a criminal drug trafficking organization believed to be operating within the region.

The interagency task force that contributed to this sting included Atlanta Police Department Narcotics Unit, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (CMANS), Sandy Springs Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The collaboration highlights the concerted efforts in addressing the drug trafficking issues that plague the area.
