The Sanford community faces yet another reminder of the violence that plagues its streets as the Sanford Police Department apprehends 30-year-old Moses Mitchell, a suspect linked to the shooting death of 22-year-old La-Don Ja Quan Williams earlier in November, WESH reported. Police reveal that Mitchell has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder following the event on Nov. 1 – a day that also left another victim injured with gunshot wounds. However, they were later treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital. According to FOX 35 Orlando, it was around 3:30 p.m. on that fateful first day of November when officers arrived at the scene, finding Williams with a life-ending gunshot wound. Following his arrest, Mitchell was booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.
