Santa Rosa’s Montgomery Village just scored a new neighborhood hangout, as Fieldwork Brewing has opened its first Sonoma County taproom and planted a family-friendly beer and pizza spot right in the shopping center. The space mixes indoor and outdoor seating across roughly 4,000 square feet, pairing a rotating tap list with non-alcoholic craft options and a menu clearly built with families in mind.
Fieldwork announced the opening in a press release via PR Newswire, noting that the Santa Rosa taproom sits at 2400 Midway Drive inside Montgomery Village. Co-founder and CEO Barry Braden said in the release that “Santa Rosa's culture of craft and community made Montgomery Village the perfect fit for Fieldwork,” framing the new spot as a natural extension of the brewery’s existing footprint.
Fieldwork's website lists the taproom’s hours, phone number and ordering options. The Santa Rosa location is open Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with dine-in service, pickup and local delivery available within five miles. A new anchor for Montgomery Village
Montgomery Village lists Fieldwork among the new tenants arriving this year as part of a broader refresh of the open-air center, which has been leaning harder into food and drink. The Press Democrat reports that the Santa Rosa space measures roughly 4,032 square feet and notes that Fieldwork had been scouting Sonoma County for several years before finally pulling the trigger on a location.

According to Fieldwork's website, the Montgomery Village taproom takes walk-ins and also offers pickup, local delivery and to-go beer, and the company is currently hiring kitchen staff for the new outpost.
