Boston Police received a report around 2 a.m. of a stabbing at 850 Harrison Avenue, the address for the hospital. Residents in the vicinity of the altercation are raising concerns about safety for those who work at and visit the Boston Medical Center. "Now someone has been stabbed here near BMC, so what are people doing to make sure the employees are safe? If the employees are being stabbed, who's going to treat the wounded?" resident Sam Pierce told WCVB. These comments reflect a growing apprehension about the security measures in place in the area.
