Described as a Black woman about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighing approximately 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, Lawson's absence sparked a search operation. Despite the efforts, officials hadn't been able to make contact for several hours which raised concerns about her condition. The South Fulton Police asked for the public's assistance, urging anyone with knowledge to come forward, as noted in Atlanta News First.
