
The Springfield Police Department has taken to social media to request the public's assistance in locating Carmen Rosario-Rivera, a 79-year-old woman reported missing earlier today. In a post shared on their official Facebook page, authorities indicated that she was last seen around the 300 block of Liberty Street near Union Station at about 8:30 a.m.
Described as 5'3", Rosario-Rivera was wearing a distinctive black and green jacket paired with blue capri pants at the time of her disappearance the Springfield Police hopes that this description will aid citizens in identifying her should they encounter her whilst out and about.
Springfield detectives are urging anyone with information on Rosario-Rivera's whereabouts to get in touch immediately.
