The St. Charles Police Department announced on social media that their annual program has concluded, providing holiday support to local families in need. The initiative, part of the "Adopt-a-Family" and “WE R STC Help a Neighbor Employee Challenge,” achieved remarkable results this year, according to a Facebook post by the department.
The program, which relies on the contributions of city employees, has concluded successfully. "Thanks to the incredible generosity of our city employees, local families experienced the warmth and joy of the holiday season," the department stated in a Facebook post.
The program also aims to strengthen connections within the community. Participation in the Adopt-a-Family initiative supports local families and reinforces community engagement in St. Charles.
