This Sunday, St. Louis Park is set to become a bit more festive with the arrival of the 2025 Holiday Train, an event poised to sprinkle a dash of holiday spirit on the season for locals and visitors alike. The City of St. Louis Park has announced that the train, a yearly spectacle of lights and sounds, will pull in near the intersection of West Lake Street and Library Lane at 6 p.m., with musicians set to perform from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.
Before the train arrives, the area is expected to begin filling with visitors as early as 4:30 p.m., with food trucks and hot drinks available. The City of St. Louis Park is advising attendees to arrive before 5:45 p.m. to avoid crossing the tracks after the train pulls in, as crossings will be closed for safety. Officials say spectators should plan to stay on the west side once the event begins.
It seems the city has gone to great lengths to keep the event orderly, posting maps indicating road closures, parking arrangements, and specially designated no-parking zones, facilitating a smooth experience for attendees. Information is available via their official Facebook page or the city's events website for those who want to plan.
