A suspect has been arrested following an aggravated assault incident at an Exxon gas station located at 610 North Germantown Parkway. According to the Memphis Police Department's news release, at 12:14 a.m. on December 21, officers discovered a male victim with stab wounds. The victim, whose name has not been released, was initially listed in critical condition but later upgraded to non-critical after receiving care at a local hospital.
Suspected in the stabbing, 42-year-old Frank Jackson managed to initially avoid capture, fleeing the scene in a black hatchback-style vehicle. However, the Memphis-based Appling Farms Task Force quickly took to tracking down Jackson, successfully pinpointing his whereabouts across the state line in West Memphis, Arkansas.
In collaboration with the West Memphis Police Department, the apprehension of Frank Jackson was coordinated and carried out. He is currently in custody and awaiting extradition back to Memphis, where he faces charges for Aggravated Assault.
