Residents of Roxbury were met with an unsettling scene last week, as multiple vehicles were targeted in a string of break-ins. Last Thursday, Boston Police responded to reports on George Street, where they found three cars with windows shattered, their interiors in disarray. According to police statements, an additional victim came forward the following day to report another incident of similar nature in the same vicinity.
Investigators worked swiftly to piece together evidence, which led to the identification of a suspect known as Earl Joseph, 51, from Dorchester. Joseph was apprehended earlier today by officers from District C-11, and he faces several charges including, "Four Counts of Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle, Nighttime for Felony" and "Four Counts of Malicious Destruction to a Motor Vehicle," as stated in the Boston Police Department's report.
Joseph's arrest took place at around 9:20 AM near 435 Columbia Road in Dorchester, a result of a diligent investigation and a warrant issued by Roxbury District Court. He is expected to face these charges in the Roxbury District Court, but the date of his arraignment has not yet been detailed.
