The Sharon Police Department reported the arrest of William “Bill” Pusateri, linked to scams targeting the elderly. He allegedly coerced $4,000 from a victim by promising paving services that were never completed, posing as a contractor from companies such as Priority 1 Paving and Best Price Paving.

Sharon Police Detective Pasco, who led the investigation, stated that Pusateri is under investigation for similar scams by multiple Massachusetts police departments. At the time of his arrest, he had 11 active warrants. Authorities urge any additional victims to come forward.

Yesterday, law enforcement apprehended Pusateri in a Sharon motel with the help of patrol officers. He was taken to Stoughton District Court and arraigned on multiple charges, including larceny over $250 from a person over 60 or with a disability and common notorious thief, according to the Sharon Police Department.
