
Authorities in The Village are actively searching for suspects involved in a vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash early Wednesday morning in northwest Oklahoma City. The incident, which began with an officer spotting a vehicle reported as stolen near West Britton Road and Waverly Avenue around 3 a.m., led to a chase that culminated when the vehicle crashed under a truck near Northwest 102nd Street and North McKinley Avenue, according to News9. The driver and possibly one additional suspect fled the scene on foot.

Police efforts to swiftly and safely apprehend the individuals continue, with the belief that there are two people connected to the chase who are being sought. The area affected by the crash and subsequent search was near Hefner Rd. and Western Ave., where officials confirmed that the suspects had abandoned the crash scene on foot.
A more intimate perspective of the incident was provided by a doorbell camera, which captured the chaotic moments as the police chase concluded in a local homeowner's front yard. "So, we came out, and sure enough, there was a vehicle pretty much under his truck, and the truck was pretty much lifted into the air and kind of landed into the other vehicle, and there were two guys. One of them went into our backyard through our back door. We heard the dogs just barking out of control, because they knew somebody was in the backyard," homeowner Juana Cervantes told KOCO.
