Tempe residents can enjoy the heated Kiwanis Wave Pool during the Winter Waves event from December 13–28. The indoor pool is open weekends, 1–5 p.m. Entry fees are $4 for kids 2–12, $5 for ages 13 and up, and free for children under 2, the City of Tempe announced.
On December 21, a special Winter Waves event will feature Santa visits, games, and activities for all ages, tempe.gov reports. Tube rentals start at $5, and life jackets are provided free. Snacks are available at the Snack Shack on Saturdays; outside food is not permitted.
For safety, children seven and under must stay within arm’s reach of someone at least 16, with a one-to-four adult-to-child ratio. Only U.S. Coast Guard–approved Type I, II, or III life jackets are allowed. More details are available on the Tempe government website.
