A 19-year-old man, Rylan Martin, died following a shooting that led to a car crash in Clayton County on Tuesday last week. The incident occurred on Flint River Road and resulted in Martin colliding with another vehicle on Tara Boulevard near Fayetteville Road, FOX 5 Atlanta reported.
The other driver, Alfredo Hernandez of Jonesboro, was traveling through a green light when the crash occurred. He was hospitalized for internal injuries and cuts inside both eyes but has since been released.
Authorities confirmed Martin died after being taken to the hospital in critical condition, 11Alive reported. Clayton County police are continuing to investigate the shooting and crash, and no details have been released regarding suspects or a motive.
