
Police in northwest Las Vegas are investigating a shooting that left two men dead on Thursday evening. Officers were called around 5:30 p.m. to the 4500 block of N. Vogue Street, near Tenaya Way and Craig Road, where they found both men with gunshot wounds, as reported by News 3 LV.
Authorities found one man dead at the scene, while the other died after being taken to a hospital. According to KTNV, the preliminary investigation shows that the incident began when a man visiting a friend’s home was confronted by another man who entered the house without permission.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting in which an unauthorized visitor entered a residence and, in their news release, “words were exchanged between the two before the male who had entered without permission produced a firearm and shot the other male multiple times,” and “He then shot himself,” as per News 3 LV. The motive and identities of those involved have not been released and will be provided by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Section or Crime Stoppers.
