Two arrests have been made in connection with a fatal shooting in Dutchtown. A 19-year-old and a 20-year-old male are facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder. The 19-year-old is also charged with assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and three counts of armed criminal action, while the 20-year-old faces similar charges and an additional charge of resisting arrest, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

On November 9, just before 11:30 p.m., District 1 officers responded to a shooting near South Grand Boulevard and Meramec Street, where they found a silver Toyota sedan with a 22-year-old passenger, Brayan Aparicio, who had been shot and was unresponsive. His girlfriend, who was not injured, told officers the shooting occurred in the 3600 block of Dunnica Street and that they drove to the location afterward.

Paramedics transported Aparicio to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Homicide detectives are investigating the case, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Division at 314-444-5371 or submit anonymous tips to CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477), with the possibility of a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
