On December 18, those venturing westbound on LA 39, known to locals as N. Claiborne Ave, will face a full closure of the Judge Seeber Bridge from 9 AM to 12 PM for essential drain cleaning operations. Meanwhile, the eastbound side of the bridge won't be completely off-limits, but travelers will be squeezed into a single lane, also from 9 AM to 12 PM, for the same reason, according to the Department of Transportation and Development.
The Department of Transportation and Development statement, they've reminded drivers "to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment." It's a simple plea for safety that echoes across the clang and hum of traffic cones and construction signs.
