This weekend, the corridors of the Don Haskins Center at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) will echo with the footsteps of graduates and their proud families, as the institution gears up to honor its largest fall graduating cohort. Come Saturday and Sunday, the ceremonies will celebrate over 2,900 graduates and degree candidates, with 2,280 being fall-only graduates, marking a historic moment for UTEP. UTEP Newsfeed officially stated that this represents the highest number of fall graduates in its history.
Proving accessibility matters in celebrating such a milestone, UTEP has made clear that no admission tickets are necessary for the event. Less than an hour before the commencement, donning their caps and gowns, guests may enter the arena. The University's commitment to ensuring that everyone can participate in honoring these scholars' achievements is laid bare. With free guest parking available on Sun Bowl Drive and Glory Road, including lots further designated such as GR2 and SB7, UTEP is providing adequate space for attendees, with the option for paid parking at the Glory Road Parking Garage.
The commencement ceremonies split over two days, as detailed by UTEP Newsfeed, are set to kick off with the College of Education and College of Engineering at 1 p.m. on Saturday, followed by the College of Liberal Arts at 6 p.m. Sunday's schedule will feature the College of Science, Woody L.
