The Wakefield Police Department issued a missing person alert via social media in an effort to find Jason Thomas, who has been reported missing since this morning. According to the official Facebook post, Thomas was last seen last Friday night, around midnight, in the Murray Street and Chestnut Street area of Wakefield.
Providing a description of Thomas, the police mention that he is a 45-year-old white male, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing around 180 pounds. When he was last seen, Thomas was spotted wearing a distinctive white and grey or black puffer-style jacket, black pants, and black sneakers which were marked by white laces. The attire included a black winter hat and gloves.
Police urge anyone who may have seen him or has information regarding his whereabouts to come forward immediately to help return Thomas safely. The Wakefield Police Department is encouraging the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings or relevant details by calling 781-245-1212, a step that could lead to a faster resolution of the case.
