Revamping community spaces is all the rage, and Willis Winters Park, the spot formerly known as Randall Park, is no exception. The park has been under the spotlight, with a slew of enhancements aimed at pulling in the locals to this east Dallas haven. Rudy Karimi of District 14 Park and Recreation took to social media, lauding the ongoing efforts, “This is exactly why I keep telling everyone this is one of the most improved parks in the entire city over the past five years.”
Among the spruce-ups, a new fitness trail is the latest perk on the horizon. And when we say ‘on the horizon’, think early spring completion, which, for fitness buffs and casual strollers alike, means adding another layer of charm to their neighborhood jaunts very soon.
Let's not forget the other major makeover moments the park has been gearing up for. A snazzy transformation of both the baseball and softball fields is penciled in to round off come January.
