
Worcester is grappling with the aftermath of a shooting that left a 31-year-old local man injured. The Worcester Police Department confirmed that officers and detectives were dispatched to the junction of Water Street and Harrison Street yesterday, around 6:10pm, following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a chest wound.
The injured man was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. As of now, he is anticipated to survive his injuries. No suspect has been apprehended at this time, and the shooting is currently being treated as an isolated event. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, but detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
