City of Yukon offices will be closed on January 1 and 2, 2026, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. The Transfer Station and Recycle Center will also be closed on those days and will reopen at 10 a.m. on January 3, according to the City of Yukon's Facebook post.
If your regular trash pickup day is Thursday, it will instead be collected on January 2, 2026. Customers with Friday pickup will be serviced as normal, as reported by the City of Yukon.
Mabel C. Fry Public Library will be closed January 1 through 3, while the Yukon Community Center, Jackie Cooper Gym, and Dale Robertson Center will be closed January 1 through 4 before resuming normal hours. Yukon Animal Control Facility will also be closed on January 1 and 2 in observance of the holiday.
