The male suspect, however, has not evaded description, being identified as a Hispanic man in his 40s, around 5 feet 7 inches in stature and weighing near 220 pounds, with black hair featuring a mustache and goatee, and possibly sporting a "LINDA" or similarly inscribed tattoo on his chest, this account coming from the police. Donned in a black tank top, camouflage shorts accompanied by sandals and a tan hooded sweatshirt, he made his departure with the pilfered spirits unnoticed, in terms of payment that is.
Furthermore, FOX 7 Austin detailed that the suspect, laden with ill-gotten liquor, placed the bottles into a shopping cart and exited Twin Liquors without conducting any form of transaction to remunerate the store. The Austin police is hoping that residents might aid in identifying the perpetrator, offering a substantial reward for information.
Residents who might hold any knowledge pertinent to the case can advance such information to the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program, doing so anonymously either through the website at austincrimestoppers.org or by dialing 512-472-8477, with assurances of a potential reward reaching up to $1,000 if said information were to facilitate an arrest. The successful apprehension of the suspect hinges on community cooperation and the vigilant eyes that may recognize a man defined by his stature, his distinct facial hair, and the mark etched upon his chest declaring "LINDA."
