Buckeye police say officers were called to the home around 9 p.m. for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot and rushed him to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives spent the night speaking with multiple people at the scene, and investigators said they did not believe there was a continuing threat to the surrounding community.
According to ABC15 Arizona, officers located the wounded man and had him transported in critical condition to an area hospital. The station reports that detectives are still interviewing people connected to the scene as they work to piece together what led up to the gunfire.
