The City of Tolleson welcomed Cafecito Coffeehouse last Tuesday, celebrating the opening of the new local business owned by Tolleson natives and twin sisters Allie and Alexis Marquez. During the ribbon-cutting, the shop received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva "in celebration of the coffeehouse’s opening and the owners’ commitment to local entrepreneurship," according to the City of Tolleson.
Vice Mayor Jimmy Davis and Council Members Christine Chavira and Adolfo Gamez attended the event alongside Arizona State Senator Eva Diaz and representatives from the offices of Ruben Gallego and Yassamin Ansari. The gathering reflected broad support for the new coffeehouse and its role in contributing to the city’s local business community, as reported by the City of Tolleson.
