Forecasters expect partly sunny conditions today with a high near 40°F and west-northwest winds of 5 to 15 mph before temperatures drop to around 20°F tonight with lighter north-northwest winds near 5 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
On Sunday, the region is expected to see clear, sunny skies with afternoon temperatures climbing to about 37°F as winds shift from west-northwest to south-southwest at 5 to 10 mph. The National Weather Service predicts mostly clear conditions Sunday night, with temperatures falling to roughly 26°F as winds turn from south-southwest to northwest after midnight.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, temperatures will reach around 35°F with increasing clouds and a light north-northwest wind, then drop to about 20°F overnight as skies gradually clear and winds calm. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 41°F, with light winds turning southerly in the morning. Wednesday brings a 30 percent chance of showers after noon and a high near 49°F, with rain chances increasing to 50 percent overnight as temperatures fall to around 34°F. Thursday carries a 40 percent chance of showers with highs near 45°F, decreasing to 20 percent overnight. Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 44°F, as reported by the National Weather Service.
