
A two-vehicle collision at a busy Stockton intersection on Tuesday night left one man dead and sent another to the hospital, shutting down traffic on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Golden Gate Avenue for hours while investigators worked the scene. KCRA reported that officers were on scene just after 8:15 p.m. and that the Stockton Police Department's traffic unit is leading the investigation into what caused the collision. As of late Tuesday night, investigators had not given an estimate for when the intersection would reopen, according to the station.
