The Deering Estate will host its annual “Moonlight & Music” Valentine’s Day Concert on February 14, offering a romantic evening under the stars. Attendees can enjoy live performances by Brothers Of Others and Elilo while relaxing on the estate’s scenic lawns. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnics, pre-order meals, or purchase food at the venue for an evening of music, culture, and natural beauty, as reported by the Miami-Dade County government's news release.
This year’s concert will feature Miami’s Brothers Of Others, known for their soulful rock ’n’ roll and dynamic performances that shift from intimate acoustic sets to high-energy sing-along numbers, according to Miami-Dade County. Opening the evening, Elilo will bring her signature mix of pop and indie-pop with soulful undertones, creating a melodic atmosphere that complements the concert’s theme of love, music, and togetherness.
The concert promises to be a fully immersive experience starting at 8 p.m., with attendees able to select from five different entry times—5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., or 7:30 p.m. upon ticket purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for comfortable seating, while several items, such as large coolers, candles, balloons, and pop-up tents are on the no-fly list, ensuring everyone's evening is free of unnecessary clutter and distractions. General admission to this melodic rendezvous on the estate grounds will set you back $70 plus tax, though there's a 10% discount available for the Deering Estate Foundation Members with a special promo code, details for which are available via an email request outlined in the county's news release.
For attendees not bringing their own picnic, Joanna’s Marketplace offers pre-ordered meals, with a deadline of February 11 at 3 p.m.. Limited food and refreshments will also be available for purchase at the event. Set across the 450-acre Deering Estate, a cultural and ecological landmark that has inspired Miamians since opening to the public, the concert will feature general admission seating on the front lawn and Boat Basin Jetties, providing spaces for all types of concertgoers, according to Miami-Dade officials.
