A person was killed in a shooting in DeKalb County last Saturday morning. Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 2400 block of Candler Road. The victim was later found on Kelly Lake Drive, not far from the original location, as reported by FOX5 Atlanta.
DeKalb County Police have not identified a suspect or made any arrests in connection with the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing. Officers responded to the scene at about 9:30 a.m., but details about what led to the shooting have not been released.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward and submit tips anonymously. Tips can be sent through the Tip411 app or by texting "DKPD" to 847411 followed by the information, according to Atlanta News First.
