The community of Dracut is currently on high alert as the local Police Department seeks assistance following a stabbing incident that occurred last Friday night. According to Dracut Police Department, the incident occurred at around 10:09 p.m. on Bridge Street after reports of a large group fighting; however, when officers arrived, the individuals involved had already dispersed, leaving behind scant clues to the tumult that had taken place.
Amidst the ensuing chaos, a juvenile male was discovered to have been stabbed; the severity of his injuries has not been disclosed, the authorities continue their search for a suspect who is said to have fled the scene in an older model dark gray Mercedes Benz SUV. As of now the suspect is described as being 5-feet, 4-inches tall and was wearing a camouflage hooded jacket with black jeans at the time of the incident, as the Dracut Police Department tirelessly works to piece together the events that unfolded on that fateful night.
In an effort to further their investigation, the Dracut Police are calling upon the public to come forward with any information that might lead to a resolution. "A preliminary investigation determined that a juvenile male had been stabbed," the official reports stated, signaling a clear need for community engagement to aid in bringing the assailant to justice, as per Dracut Police official website.
