According to the City of Duncanville, the city received the prestigious Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for the fiscal year that ended on September 30, 2024. To even be considered for the award, Duncanville had to first submit its annual comprehensive financial report to the GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program and receive the Certificate for the current year.
