The City of Edmond announced that intermittent lane closures will begin Monday on S. Coltrane Road from Second Street to Stonepoint Drive for a widening and repaving project. According to the City of Edmond, Government's Post, the work will turn the section into a continuous four-lane road and is expected to last approximately eight weeks, weather permitting.
Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time, seek alternate routes if possible, and remain alert in construction zones. The City reminds motorists that schedules may change depending on weather conditions.
