The El Cajon Police Department has announced the arrest of a 21-year-old suspect, Greyson Washborne, also known as Thomas Menchaca, following a comprehensive investigation into multiple severe sexual crimes. The Family Protection Unit spent several months looking into the allegations, which included sexual assault and rape charges. Washborne was arrested on January 21, 2026, after investigators connected him to crimes against three individuals who had reported sexual offenses during their relationships with the suspect, according to the El Cajon Police Department.
