The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is currently on the lookout for possible additional victims following the arrest of Brandon Duba, a 39-year-old man, on multiple sexual offenses involving children. According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, detectives from the Special Victims Unit initiated an investigation on September 23, 2025, spurred by reports of Duba's alleged sexual assault against multiple children, to whom he was reported to have held a position of trust.

Duba, whose bond was set at $250,000, posted bail and was released three days after his December 18 arrest. Information gleaned during their investigations led detectives to surmise Duba had extensive interactions with children through his former role as a bodybuilding trainer and coach, often frequenting Vasa Fitness on Palmer Park and Elevation Pro Gym in the Pikes Peak region. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office stated, "Duba has reportedly taught children’s classes (likely martial arts and bodybuilding) in the Colorado Springs area over the past eight years."

"Criminals who prey on children represent the most serious threat to the safety and well-being of our community," said Sheriff Joseph Roybal, as per the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. He hailed the SVU detectives' "dedication and professionalism," assuring that their work ensures "thorough, compassionate, and victim-focused investigations." This sentiment was echoed in a recent press release, which also urged anyone with information or who believes they may have been victimized to come forward and contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at (719) 520-7777.
