Initial findings by the Special Traffic Investigations unit suggest that the crash occurred as a Chevy Camaro, traveling east on Sean Hagerty, was hit by a Pickup truck running a red light at the Gateway North intersection, according to the El Paso Police Department.
The driver of the Pickup truck, Abel Garcia, was recently arrested on January 21st, after he turned himself in to the police. Garcia has since been charged with Intoxication Manslaughter and was discovered to have an outstanding warrant for Family Violence.
