The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin a paving project on US 93 north of Wickenburg starting Monday, covering a 16-mile stretch from mileposts 156 to 172 and continuing into spring 2027. The work will take place at night, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
During these hours, US 93 will be reduced to one alternating lane controlled by flaggers and a pilot car. Vehicles wider than 14 feet must use alternate routes, and nighttime drivers should expect delays or plan a different path, as reported by the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is working on a section of US 93 to improve pavement conditions and safety. The project may cause delays, especially during night work, and is expected to continue for about a year. ADOT plans to launch a project website at azdot.gov in the Northwest projects section, where drivers can find updates and information about traffic impacts.
