Farragut's local quilt artisans will soon have the chance to display their handcrafted pieces to the community, with the Town of Farragut announcing its 2026 quilt show. Set for the weekend of February 21 and 22, the event is slated to take place at the Farragut Community Center. According to a statement obtained by the Town of Farragut, attendance is free of charge, running from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.
The quilt show, boasting an array of styles and sizes, is put together by the Town Arts & Beautification Committee. Welcoming everyone from seasoned quilters to those simply admiring the craft, the exhibition will be an opportunity for attendees to appreciate the spectrum of the quilting art form. Organizers encourage local quilters wanting to showcase their work to apply; the application can be diligently filled out on the town's events page, with the deadline creeping on January 23, Friday.
Those interested in participating or seeking more details about the event can connect with Special Events and Lead Recreation and Event Attendant Kalei Fisher. They can be reached either through email at [email protected] or by phone at 865-218-3376, as relayed by the town's event announcement. The Farragut Community Center, set against 239 Jamestowne Blvd, serves as a hub not just for the quilt show but also for a variety of community events throughout the year.
