Following a period of blinking red lights, which required drivers to treat the intersection as a four-way stop, the signal is cycling and functioning as a normal traffic signal as of 2 pm, according to a social media post from the Justin Police Department.
The traffic alert necessitated extra caution from drivers as the signal was set to flash red in all directions during the adjustment phase. Motorists were urged to slow down, remain alert, and watch for other vehicles while the traffic patterns were in the process of being adjusted. The Justin Police Department's update confirmed that normal traffic flow has resumed, but still reminded residents to "exercise caution as residents acclimate to the new signal."
