The Franklin Police Department's "Not in Our Mall" campaign ran from November 14 to December 24, 2025, targeting retail crime in the city's shopping districts. The operation led to 76 arrests, including 34 for drug offenses, 21 for shoplifting, 14 wanted individuals, and other criminal charges, along with the recovery of six illegally possessed guns, over $16,000 in merchandise, and more than $4,200 in cash, according to the City of Franklin.
"These results show exactly why this operation is so important," said Chief Deb Faulkner. She added, "Our officers worked proactively throughout the holiday season to keep our shopping areas safe, hold offenders accountable, and send a clear message that criminal activity will not be tolerated in Franklin," as reported by the City of Franklin.
The Franklin Police Department said, “Our enforcement efforts don’t stop when the holiday season ends,” and “The Franklin Police Department remains vigilant year-round, always watching out for our community and taking action to keep residents, visitors, and businesses safe.” The department continues patrols throughout the year and asks residents to report any suspicious activity, as stated by the City of Franklin.
