The Gilroy Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect accused of robbing a local Safeway store. The incident took place on Sunday and was reported to have occurred after the individual left the store with items for which he did not pay and allegedly threatened an employee with a knife. In a bid to increase community involvement, authorities have released images of the suspect and a case number for reference.
Members of the community who recognize the individual in question are strongly encouraged to contact the Gilroy Police Department at 408-846-0350, citing case #25-5982, to assist in the ongoing investigation.
